Brenda's Birthday Fundraiser

It’s my birthday month and I am reaching out to you to help me celebrate a milestone birthday that will have lasting impact!

After serving the North Lawndale community for the past 20 years, the demand for our services continue to increase so we are pleased to announce we are relocating our services and social enterprise, Sweet Beginnings, to our new workforce development campus, featuring our new Worker bee Café and partnership with Wintrust Bank.

This year revealed stark and painful realities of the economic, social and racial disparities facing our communities. More than ever, now is the time to take answer the call for action by creating more pathways to economic equality and social justice.

For my birthday, I hope you will consider making a donation to assist us in completing our campus community peace garden, by purchasing a brick, paver or bench. Your gift is an investment in the future of North Lawndale by creating pathways to employment, reducing violence and advancing financial and digital literacy for long-term economic mobility residents, while sealing your name in history.
